CMKLR1 and depressive disorder: In the lipopolysaccharide-induced depression mouse model, intracerebral administrations of chemerin receptor agonist: Eicosapentaenoic acid-derived resolvins E1 (1 ng) or E2 (10 ng) produce antidepressant effects depending on ChemR23/mTORC1 pathway in the medial prefrontal cortex and hippocampal dentate gyrus [218] (Table 1), suggesting activating chemerin signaling could be a novel antidepressant target.
