SOX11 is a transcription factor that is normally expressed in the fetal brain and is thought to play a role in nervous system development.[1] SOX11 is also expressed in several neoplastic conditions, including ovarian carcinomas, pancreatic solid pseudo-papillary tumor, brain tumors, and lymphomas.[2–5] Among lymphomas, mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) shows higher expression of SOX11 than other types of lymphoproliferative disorders (LPDs).[6]. Here, SOX11 is linked to brain neoplasm.
