Malignant HRS cells induce IL-6 secretion by fibroblasts [40], and secrete cytokines such as IL-13, TNF-α and TGF-β that not only modulate SR-A expression in human monocyte-derived macrophages [41–44], but also increase fibroblast proliferation and deposition of a collagen-rich extracellular matrix characteristic of the NSCHL [45]. This evidence concerns the gene IL13 and nodular sclerosis classical Hodgkin lymphoma.
