These findings indicate that a uPAR/FPR1 crosstalk does occur on the surface of primary ovarian cancer cells and that, as already documented in FPR1 overexpressing rat basophilic leukaemia RBL-2H3/ETFR cells [38], RI-3 binds to FPR1 blocking its internalization and function. This evidence concerns the gene FPR1 and ovarian carcinoma.
