CFHR5 and Nephropathy: Although C5b-9 and FHR5 staining intensities were greater in the biopsy with glomerular inflammation, the detection of C5b-9 and FHR5 in a potential kidney donor with normal renal function but subclinical CFHR5 nephropathy shows that glomerular complement deposition can be detected in the absence of glomerular inflammation in CFHR5 nephropathy.
