HSF1 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: We first look at the HSF1 locus only, analysis of HSF1 CNA distribution showed that deep deletion and shallow deletion represented a small proportion of tumor, while gain or amplification of HSF1 is often overrepresented (Fig. 2a) in particular for the following histological subtypes: testicular seminoma (82%), uveal melanoma (76%), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (74%), and neuroendocrine prostate cancer (68%).
