It is reported that the diagnostic rates of AFP‐NHCC patients by CT, MRI, and B ultrasound are about 50.9%, 50.0%, and 10.4%, respectively.7 In addition, liver nodular lesions such as cirrhosis regenerative nodules, hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia, hepatic adenomas may also have HCC‐like imaging findings, making AFP‐NHCC easily misdiagnosed as benign disease, and thus lost the opportunity for early treatment.2, 8. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and hepatocellular carcinoma.
