In more advanced cancers, high expression of SPAG5 indicated less of an association with RFS in grade 2 cancer (HR = 1.9, 95% CI 1.45–2.49, p < 0.001), and only a moderate tendency with no statistical difference toward shorter RFS was seen among patients with grade 3 cancer (HR = 1.17, 95% CI 0.91–1.51, p = 0.23) (see Table 1 and Fig. 5). This evidence concerns the gene SPAG5 and cancer.
