In this study, our findings indicated that BoHV-1 infection promoted the proteasome degradation of Nrf2 (Figure 2(a)) in line with the increased expression of KEAP1 protein following the virus infection (Figure 2(d)), suggesting that KEAP1 is potentially involved in the virus infection-induced degradation of Nrf2.
