CD8A and neoplasm: Figure 4 illustrates this behavior. When we increase the source term of dendritic cells, it increases NK cells and CD8+ T cells. We also note that these have an effect on tumor growth as both NK and CD8+ T cells can lyse tumor cells. This decrease is also seen in this figure. This suggests that an external source term of dendritic cells has the potential to decrease tumor growth. We also note that dendritic cells play an important role in recruiting CD8+ T cells earlier in the tumor growth phase.
