We found that the mice developed AML within the expected latency period, though the Cbfb+/56MFbxo9+/− group had a significantly shorter time of survival with a median survival of 14 weeks (p = 0.0037) compared to 17 weeks (p = 0.0731) in Cbfb+/56MFbxo9−/−, and 20 weeks in Cbfb+/56MFbxo9+/+ cohorts (Figure 4B). The gene discussed is CBFB; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
