CRP and chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis: In a case-matched study between bacterial osteomyelitis and CRMO (4), CRP was more characteristically elevated in bacterial osteomyelitis than CRMO (CRP 31 ± 50 vs. 9.8 ± 15.9 mg/dl, (mean ± SD), p = 0.008), and fever was present in 38% of cases vs. 12% (p = 0.003), respectively.
