Wieser et al. showed that, in a cohort of 158 patients with high-grade serous ovarian cancers, BRCA1/2 mutated tumors were characterized by high PD-1 expression, and that PD-L1 was observed mainly in BRCA1/2 and TP53 mutated cancers (29). This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and ovarian serous adenocarcinoma.
