A comprehensive mass-spectrometry-based proteomic characterization of 13 ovarian HGSC and 7 LGSC specimens was performed by isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) technology, and two special proteins, ASNS and FLNA, were screened out for in vitro investigation of their function through the examination of their role in the cellular behavior of ovarian cancer cell line models.
