As illustrated in Figure 2B, all three of the SUV parameters were able to significantly discriminate the mutant-type of EGFR subgroup from the wild-type of EGFR subgroup [AUC = 0.621 (P = 0.026), 0.624 (P = 0.023), and 0.615 (P = 0.035) for SUVmax, SUVmean, and SUVpeak, respectively], but TLG did not exhibit significant predictive power for EGFR mutation status in NSCLC [AUC = 0.597 (P = 0.074)]. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
