Molecular profiling of NSCLC identified mutations in the tumor suppressor genes (TP53, RB1), oncogenes (EGFR, KRAS, AKT, MAPK) and translocations in oncogenes (ALK, RET, ROS1, NTRK1, NRG1), which alter the important signal-transduction pathways (2, 3). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
