In another nationwide retrospective study that included patients with aggressive ATL aged 70 years or younger who underwent allo-HCT, we identified five prognostic factors for poor outcomes: acute-type ATL, poor PS, high sIL-2R levels (>5,000 U/mL), hypercalcemia (adjusted calcium level ≥12 mg/dL), and high C-reactive protein level (≥2.5 mg/dL). Here, CRP is linked to hypercalcemia disease.
