Sorting out recurrent fusions according to cancer types illustrates many famous fusion genes such as TMPRSS2–ERG in PRAD (191 patients), PML–RARA fusion in LAML (42 patients), FGFR3–TACC3 in GBM (29 patients), CCDC6–RET in THCA (21 patients), CLDN18–ARHGAP26 in STAD (9 patients) and EML4–ALK in LUAD (5 patients) (Figure 4C). Here, ARHGAP26 is linked to prostate adenocarcinoma.
