Our results were consistent with those of Kinuta et al.(45), demonstrating that vitamin D promoted folliculogenesis and follicular development in rats with PCOS by increasing estrogen and progesterone concentrations and regulating the FSH and LH ratio.Vitamin D deficiency increases PTH secretion (a decrease in serum calcium concentration) because insulin plays a role in calcium absorption(47). This evidence concerns the gene PTH and polycystic ovary syndrome.
