In total, 16 melanoma marker genes (S100A1, ABCB5, CDH19, MIA, SLC26A2, MCAM, S100A2, S100P, MAGEA4, TFAP2C, SFRP1, SERPINA3, CSPG4, TYRP1, IL13RA2, S100A7A) were highly expressed in melanomas with activating mutations (Figure 1A,C). The gene discussed is TYRP1; the disease is melanoma.
