We delineated the precise oncogenic function of AF1q in breast cancer models, where AF1q functions as transcriptional co-factor and interacts with the T-cell factor/lymphoid enhancer factor (TCF/LEF) transcriptional complex in the wingless-type MMTV integration site family (WNT) [3] and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) [12] signaling pathway.
