Currently, antibodies targeting cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) (tremelimumab and ipilimumab) and the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) or its ligand PD-L1 (nivolumab, pembrolizumab, atezolizumab, and durvalumab) have been approved for different types of solid tumours and acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. This evidence concerns the gene CTLA4 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
