Remarkably, we have showed that genetic inactivation of NUPR1 antagonizes the growth of pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) [80, 87], and other laboratories have shown that genetic inactivation of NUPR1 stops the growth of hepatocarcinoma [88], non-small lung cancer [89], cholangiocarcinoma [90], glioblastoma [91], multiple myeloma [92, 93], and osteosarcoma [94].
