Our results suggest that with aging and AD, the most significant finding in ADNP is the p.Arg730*/p.Arg730Thrfs*4 pathogenic mutations, which occur presumably somatically in selected cells, with ADNP tightly linked to cytoskeletal regulation and dendritic spine plasticity [14, 23, 25, 29]. This evidence concerns the gene ADNP and Alzheimer disease.
