Recently the researchers from the University of Queensland and Albert Einstein College of Medicine jointly developed a statistical approach known as Oncomix [171] to examine breast cancer data from The Cancer Genome Atlas patient database and identified the most promising target known as Chromobox 2 (CBX2) which has been shown to have high levels in aggressive sub-type of breast cancerand therefore could be a potential breast cancer treatment target. The gene discussed is CBX2; the disease is breast cancer.
