Antibody responses to some of the malaria vaccine candidate antigens included in the protein array (erythrocyte binding antigen-175 (EBA175), thrombospondin-related anonymous protein (TRAP), and circumsporozoite protein (CSP)) were generally higher in older children (p < 0.05, Wilcoxon rank-sum test) consistent with other studies (2, 10, 21, 29) (supplemental Fig. S4).
