Cyclin D‐CDK4 kinase has been reported to destabilize PD‐L1 via cullin 3‐SPOP to control cancer immune surveillance.17 Together with our findings, it is highly possible that PD‐L1 protein stability can be regulated by a cell cycle kinase, revealing the potential for using combination treatment with CDK2 inhibitors and PD‐1‐PD‐L1 ICB to enhance therapeutic efficacy for OvCa. This evidence concerns the gene CUL3 and cancer.
