The AUC for predicting CAD prevalence was 0.577 for methylation of 7 to 8 CpG sites within the 2nd CpG island located upstream of CDKN2B-AS1 (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.497–0.657, p = 0.062)(Fig. 7), and 0.409 for methylation of the 40th CpG site within the 2nd CpG island located upstream of CDKN2B-AS1 (95% CI: 0.329–0.489, p = 0.028)(Fig. 8).
