We first examined its expression pattern using the TCGA database and the cBioPortal web resource30, and found that YTHDF1, like KRAS, is frequently mutated and amplified in various cancers (Fig. 1j, k, Supplementary Fig. 1h; Supplementary Table 1), including breast, pancreas, colon, and lung cancers. The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is cancer.
