Figure 1a shows that SfTCRmini mice develop lethal autoimmunity by 7–10 weeks of age, and 6-week-old SfTCRmini mice suffer from lymphadenopathy, splenomegaly, and numerous infiltrates of CD4+ cells in the lungs, liver, and skin (Fig. 1b). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and Splenomegaly.
