The significant inhibition in serum ALP, AST and ALT enzymes activity in combination with significant suppression in serum urea and creatinine levels in HCC bearing rats treated with compound 3 (pyrimidine derivative) are in harmony with the previous findings of Vyshtakalyuk et al., (2016) who recorded a statistically insignificant decrease in ALT, AST and ALP enzymes activity in the pyrimidine derivatives-treated rats in comparison with the control counterparts. This evidence concerns the gene GPT and hepatocellular carcinoma.
