In several tumour types, CD70 positivity was higher in metastatic specimens as compared to primary tissue biopsies, such as lung carcinoma (85.7%, N = 7 vs 40%, N = 80) (p = 0.048) and pancreatic carcinoma (87.5%, N = 8 vs 26.1%, N = 23) (p = 0.004). This evidence concerns the gene CD70 and exocrine pancreatic carcinoma.
