In order to determine the clinical relevance of the key downregulated genes in the HCC samples, the Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was performed and it was observed that low levels of ACADS, ALDH2, and CYP2E1 were associated with poor prognosis among the patients with HCC (Supplementary Figure 1B).
