Secretory leukocyte protease inhibitor (SLPI), a component of NETs with an inhibitory function on NET formation, may bind to DNA and NE in psoriatic skin lesions and activate the pDCs to produce type 1 interferons (IFN-α, IFN-β, etc.)which regulates autoimmunity in psoriasis (128–130). Here, IFNA1 is linked to psoriasis.
