During virus infection of susceptible cells, such as with PRRSV (enveloped virus) and bovine parvovirus (non-enveloped virus), complete virion internalization involves interactions between viral proteins and cellular receptors, as well as participation of clathrin-mediated endocytosis aided by MYH9, an essential factor (Dudleenamjil et al., 2010; Arii et al., 2015; Xiong et al., 2015; Gao et al., 2016). Here, MYH9 is linked to viral infectious disease.
