Knockdown of MALAT1 demonstrated the following results: it inhibited T98G and U251 cell proliferation in the Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay (Figures 3A and 3B; p < 0.05), reduced the number of GBM colonies and colony sizes in the colony formation assay (Figure S3) (Figures 3C and 3D; p < 0.05), increased the apoptotic rates of T98G and U251 cells (Figures 3E and 3F; p < 0.01), and reduced the invasive ability of GBM cells in the Matrigel invasion assay (Figures 3G and 3H; p < 0.05).
