A previously published study illustrated that ICT could inhibit PC‐3 cell growth by inducing G1 phase arrest.27 Furthermore, ICT was also found to inhibit AR signaling in human PCa cells.28 Herein, we evaluated the antitumor action of ICT both in vivo in TRAMP mice and in vitro in human PCa cell lines, in order to fully assess the potential inhibitory mechanism of ICT on the occurrence and progression of PCa. This evidence concerns the gene AR and posterior cortical atrophy.
