Additionally, deletion of the chromosomic region 4q34–35.2 containing the ING2 gene has also been reported in uterine leiomyosarcoma (3/6) [58], and hypermethylation of the seven CpG sites in multiple intronic regions of the ING2 gene has been shown in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
