GBM is the most frequent malignant brain tumor in adults.7 The EGFR variant III (EGFRvIII) is a persistently activated EGFR mutant subtype characterized by the junction of exon 1–8 and is unique to GBM.8 We designed five crRNAs to target the junction point of EGFRvIII (Figure S3, Supporting Information).
