A multicenter, open-label, randomized phase III study, NOAH trial, was designed to add further enthusiasm to neoadjuvant anti-HER2 approach.232 This trial enrolled women with locally advanced or inflammatory HER2-positive breast cancer, to compare neoadjuvant chemotherapy plus trastuzumab, followed by standard 52 weeks trastuzumab maintenance, vs only neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
