CALR and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: Our studies have indicated that LPLUNC could work as a potential tumor suppressor gene in NPC15, 16, 18, and we identified that CALR was one of differentially expressed genes using proteomic techniques in LPLUNC1 overexpression NPC cells, which was down-regulated by LPLUNC1, suggesting CALR plays an important role in the development of NPC and might be involved in the inhibitory roles of LPLUNC1 in NPC14.
