The pooled ORs from a fixed-effects model showed that an increased expression of Ki-67/MKI67 was correlated with distant metastasis (yes versus no: OR=1.67, 95% CI=1.24-2.26, P=0.001; I2=1.7, P=0.42; Fig. 5a) and tumor invasion depth (T3/T4 versus Tis/T1/T2: OR=1.98, 95% CI=1.60-2.44, P<0.0001; I2=20.4, P=0.221; Fig. 5b). The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is neoplasm.
