Here, an up-regulation of Ki-67/MKI67 was discovered in patients with advanced TNM stage, poor tumor differentiation, serosa and neighboring organs invasion, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, suggesting that Ki-67/MKI67 could function as an indicator to predict gastric cancer progression and identify high-risk patients, thereby optimizing individual treatment management and improving the prognosis of patients with GC. This evidence concerns the gene MKI67 and gastric cancer.
