ALK and renal cell carcinoma: Subsequently, ALK rearrangements have been found in various types of neoplasm, such as inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, the diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, plasmacytoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, breast carcinoma, colonic adenocarcinoma, thyroid carcinoma and, recently RCC [2–10].
