GAS5 and breast cancer: GAS5 has been reported to interact with microRNAs through binding with each other.22, 23, 26, 27 For instance, GAS5 was found to bind to miR‐21 and the reciprocal negative regulatory relationships existed between miR‐21 and GAS5 in regulation of breast cancer.27 Similar regulatory relationships were also found between miR‐222 or miR‐26a and GAS5.22, 23 In our study, we identified that the specific binding and similar reciprocal inhibition also existed between miR‐335 and GAS5.
