NLRP3 and Hyperglycemia: A study indicated that the inhibition of autophagy increased the production of IL‐1β in ARPE‐19 cells by reactive oxygen species‐induced NLRP3 inflammasome activation in hyperglycemia.25 Another study indicated that hyperglycemia inhibited Schwann cell autophagy and aggravates diabetic peripheral neuropathy.26 Whether hyperglycemia promotes the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome by inhibiting autophagy in TAA‐induced acute liver injury remains unclear.
