Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 12a (Tnfrsf12a) and tripartite motif containing 72 (TRIM72) overexpression have been associated with atherosclerosis and diabetic cardiomyopathy, respectively (Liu et al., 2015; Lyu et al., 2018).
