KDM4A and lung cancer: Since JMJD2A was involved in the function of KLF8 in lung cancer cells, we next analyzed whether KLF8 could regulate the expression of JMJD2A. Our qRT-PCR and western blot results showed that KLF8 knockdown reduced the expression of JMJD2A whereas KLF8 overexpression promoted the expression of JMJD2A in A549 cells (Fig. 6a–d).
