We found that the expression levels of CAMK4 protein and mRNA in hepatocellular tumor tissues were lower than those in adjacent tissues (Fig. 6a–c), and that their levels in the liver cancer cell lines HepG2 and BEL-7402 were also significantly down-regulated (Figs. 6d, e), indicating that CAMK4 was down-regulated in liver cancer. This evidence concerns the gene CAMK4 and liver cancer.
