In vivo IL-4 and IL-17, representative Th2 and Th17 cytokine, respectively, were markedly downregulated in mice injected i.p. with fasudil daily starting three weeks post-infection for five weeks (Figure 5); whereas, in vivo IFN-γ, representative Th1 cytokine, was comparable between fasudil- and PBS-injected mice.
