CADM1 and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder: Furthermore, two missense mutations of CADM1 gene—C739A(H246N) and A755C(Y251S)—were found in autism spectrum disorder probands and their family members (Zhiling et al., 2008)—a neurodevelopmental disorder sharing high rates of comorbidity with ADHD (Sharma et al., 2018) and potential common molecular genetic etiologies (Gonzalez-Mantilla et al., 2016).
